An Inspirational Value of
“Semangat Hidup Seorang Tuna Wicara”
“Semangat Hidup Seorang Tunawicara” is very interesting and make us so surprised. It gives us an inspirational value of life to be strong even though we have disability. This video was created by Aprilia Nur Andini. The genre of this video is a documentary video, which tells us about a strong figure of deaf person’s life. Comparing to another documentary video, this video has a good description of the figure with a very detail explanation and trusted sources.
This video represents the real life of a dump collector. In this video, we can see many difficulties faced by Tarko and how he accepts his condition sincerely. Every day, he goes to work in the early morning until the sun sets. He is responsible for his beloved wife and daughter. Even though many people insult him, he still try to do his best for his life and family. We can also see in the video other person’s comment about him. She said that sometimes, Tarko was funny and annoying because he did not always hear what people said to him. On the other hand, he was a hard worker and responsible person.
As a descriptive perspective, we can see how Aprilia created this video with a very minimalized but clear message giving. She gave the story in an appropriate setting when all of the video has set in TPS in Jakarta. This is the place where the source of this inspirational video work. Aprilia also took some sources of Tarko’s life from his friend or working pals. She also took some picture of Tarko’s deaf wife and normal daughter as a description for his family condition. The narration for the video are also quite clear to open people mind about how to be motivated from Tarko’s life with some classical music to make us easy to flow with the story.
This clear explanation from the video can give a good motivation to normal people to be more thankful of their normal condition. This video also can become a media for people to reflect on their own life. Therefore, people who watch this video can introspect themselves on what things they had got before. If this disable people can do something like what normal people can do, even better, why the normal people cannot do something same.

This video is really recommended for people who lost their motivation of life. The hope from watching this video is that many people could watch it because of the moral value inside of the video. It could be inspired by the figure of Tarko who fight for his life even if he had a disability to do his job , and it could make people aware not to make a disability as a barrier of people to do the best for their life.

Junk Food

Junk food is a kind of food that people usually eat which is prepared and served quickly. There are many kinds of junk food that we can find easily such as: hamburger, French fries, instant noodle, gorengan and so on. Nowadays, junk food becomes a popular food because it is very practical. We can find junk food everywhere such as on the edge of the road. Junk food has a cheap price because it is made of cheap ingredients such as high fat meat, refined grains, added sugar and fats. Busy people usually eat junk food to fulfill their need without thinking further about the nutrition and the effect. They just fill their body with such kind of junk foods.
Actually, many people consume junk food because they just think that junk food is more practical for their busy life. They also can find this kind of food everywhere. It is much easier to prepare junk food or order it from junk food restaurant than to prepare and cook food because junk food is more fast and simple. We can also get this kind of food with a cheap price. Besides that, people also think that junk food has a good taste.
However, junk food has a negative effect if consumed over. Many people believe that junk food can make a lack of nutrition that are needed by our body. It is also unhealthy because most of junk food always contains dangerous additive substrate that can disturb our health. The additive substrate such as MSG (monosodium glutamate) has known can effect serious illness like cancer and so on. No food is good for you if you do not balance your diet and eat a variety of food. Junk food also increases cholesterol and should be avoided if you suffer with high blood pressure of cholesterol problems.

Because of this pros and cons about junk food, the people should care about what they consume. Even if they consume junk food, they must know the save standardization to consume junk food and balance it by eating healthy food. Therefore, the negative effect of the junk food can be minimalized. It will be better for you if you choose to consume healthy food than junk food.

Dangerous Fake Meatball
Nowadays, a meatball becomes a favorite food for everyone because of its taste, which is very delicious. We can find meatball seller wherever we go because of the big profit we get if we sell it. It makes few people do cheating in making the meatball in order to get a big profit itself. They add some formalin and borax just for making the food looks beautiful. Although they know about the bad effects of substances, they still do it.
First, as we know that formalin is used for preserving a corpse. Imagine if we consume it, automatically, we have poisoned from that substance. From the research stated that formalin is one of carcinogen compounds that trigger the growth of cancer. Actually, the use of formalin is for preserving the dead body but they use it for preserving the meatball and to make it looks more beautiful.
Second, besides using formalin they also use borax, which is added in the meatball. Actually, the use of borax is for chemical material like anti-rust agent and material for dentures. If we consume a meatball that contains a borax, so it will be very dangerous for our health. It will cause many diseases for our body such as an inflammation of the digestive track and makes our tissue to be broken. They use borax just for making the meatball become elastic and more beautiful.

Both formalin and borax are not appropriate to be used in a food. Those substances are very dangerous for our body if we consume it. We have to be selective when we choose the healthy meatball to be consumed. The hygiene place is very important to be considered when we eat the meatball.

How a Human Heart Works

Heart is one of vital organs of a human, which has the important role to pump blood throughout the blood vessel to various parts of the body by repeated, rhythmic contractions. The average human heart, beating at 72 beats per minute, will beat approximately 2.5 billion times during an average 66 year lifespan, and pumps approximately 4.7-5.7 liters of blood per minute. Therefore, this is why the heart is very important. However, how does it work?
The human heart has four chambers, two superior atria and two inferior ventricles. The atria are the receiving chambers and the ventricles are the discharging chambers. During each cardiac cycle, the atria contract first, forcing blood that has entered them into their respective ventricles, then the ventricles contract, forcing blood out of the heart. The pathway of the blood consists of a pulmonary circuit and a systemic circuit, which function simultaneously. Deoxygenated blood from the body flows via the vena cava into the right atrium, which pumps it through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle, whose subsequent contraction forces it out through the pulmonary valve into the pulmonary arteries leading to the lungs. Meanwhile, oxygenated blood returns from the lungs through the pulmonary veins into the left atrium, which pumps it through the mitral valve into the left ventricle, whose subsequent strong contraction forces it out through the aortic valve to the aorta leading to the systemic circulation.
This is the entire process how a human heart works.

Badong coral island was in the middle of the ocean; sometimes it appeared and sometimes vanished hindered by the wave. That situation was not the appropriate time to conduct the King’s command.

Missing Perception

Few years ago, when I was still in Senior High School, my friends and I went to some places around the Banyumas regency that we never visit before. I was so interested to join it because I thought that it would be the new experience for me and it would be the most unforgettable moment that I would pass. Coincidentally, it was a holiday of the school after we had a final examination so that we could go as for refreshing our mind. After doing preparation, in the next day we started to go. We had planned to go for visiting four places. The first place until the third place we did not miss the direction, but for the last place we missed the direction. It was in Baturaden, exactly when we through the small way that made us confused. For few hours, we just surrounded the place without any movement. Finally, we asked someone for showing the true way. Then we followed him. When asking him, we thought everything was all right and his answer could make us believed of him. However, for few minutes followed him, we also just surrounded the place as we have done before. We became suspicious of him after he said something weird as he mentioned his name even we did not ask him the name. Then, no longer after all, there was another one came to us and said that the man we had followed was an insane people. We were so amazed because we did not think so. His appearance was normal but in fact, he was insane. After that, all of us became laughing. It was beyond our mind.

My Recount Text

Went to Indrayati beach in Yogyakarta
Last December 2013, my friend and I went to Indrayati beach in Yogyakarta. We did it because it is just for refreshing our mind after feeling bored of many assignments. After having a lot of planning about the places we would visit and the goods we had to bring, we finally decided to go at 04.00 P.M in the next day.
In the next morning when all of my friends had been ready, they picked me up to my boarding house. However, at that time when they arrived, I was still sleeping deeply although they had woken me up many times by calling my phone. Then they entered my room so that they could wake me directly. As I was in hurry, I did not take a bath first and I just sprayed my body with a perfume. We went there by renting a car that we had booked before. There were seven people in the car. After a few minutes on trip, we stopped for a while for subuh pray before continuing our trip. As long as on the way, we met some accidents, like a motorcycle crashed with a car and I did not know about the condition of the victims. After at least four hours on trip, finally we arrived there. Tired of travelling was completely paid with the beauty of the beach. On there, we played with the sand and the waves. We also took a photo together and made the beauty of the beach as the background of our photo. After that, we ate together because we had not eaten before. We bought a meatball. It was very delicious because we were very starving. Then we continued playing with the waves. It made our pants wet whereas we did not bring another pants for changing. Therefore, we went home with a wet pant. While going home, we dropped in Malioboro for buying some merchandises. I bought “geplak” and “bakpia pathok”as the special food from Yogyakarta.

I thought it was the best experience and the best moment I ever had. I hoped I could visit another places as beautiful as Indrayati beach.
